New Max Pictures!

I'm not sure anyone else wants to see this many pictures of me and Max - but hey, its my blog :)

He really didn't have a clue what was going on - as evidenced by the blank stares he is giving the camera. It cracked me up.

Losing a classmate When I was a senior at Brandeis, a fellow '04 graduate died while I was in Israel for the week. I knew people who knew him. There was even a girl on that trip (who I later became close friends with) who was very close friends with this guy's sister. But I didn't know him. And being away, I missed most of the communal reaction. I remember saying to my mom, "My community is hurting, and I want to be there to support them". But there wasn't much that I could do. I know that a cloud hung over us...

End of an Era? I'm contemplating shutting down this blog. I have neither the time nor the desire to be writing very often, and I no longer feel a need for a platform for my thoughts. I am considering taking it down completely, or at the very least, making it password protected with the archives still available, and the option to post more still open. With job searching coming up, I would like to be conscious of what I have put on the internet. If you prefer to the password protected option, send me a quick email letting me know.

I'm a student at the Jewish Theological Seminary, living somewhere in either Israel or MA!
