Israeli Sheets! Here's something I love about Israel...the way they sell sheets! I decided that it was time for me to change my sheets (are you impressed? be impressed that I thought of changing my sheets, rather than repulsed that it didn't happen earlier). But I had only brought one pair of sheets with me - and since I'm not in love with them during the summer (they are jersey sheets), I decided I could buy a second set of sheets. But they don't sell "sets of sheets" here the way they do in the States. They either sell bottom sheets separate...

Accomplishments of the Day Today I did many things (aside from nap): I bought not one, not two, not even three, but....FIVE lulav/etrog sets! And I bargained down to the good price of 45 shekels a piece (about $10). I even remembered to get the extra pieces, to hold it all together, like the ties. And I did this all in Hebrew! (don't worry, they weren't all for me!) I found (or was shown by Allison) an eyebrow waxing place...no more tweezing for me! woohoo! (as if I wasn't gorgeous enough to begin with, now even more so!) I paid my first Israeli bill...

I'm a student at the Jewish Theological Seminary, living somewhere in either Israel or MA!
