Have you ever been to Madame Toussand’s wax museum? At first glance, it could be an, eh, interesting, yet semi-dull museum filled with wax figurines….unless you take advantage of all the potential photo opportunities!
Yoav and I went about a month ago, right after camp ended, before he went back to Israel (before the 2 parking tickets and the slashed tire, for those of you who were wondering). We had a fabulous time, took a million photos, and I still laugh when I look through them. Here are some of my personal favorites:
the pope blessing me (we totally took this picture for Daniel Picus's benefit):
Yoav and some rapper (i'm sort of embarressed that I've forgotten the names of so many of the people we took pictures with):
me wiping some shmutz off Larry King's face (good thing he was wearing a tie!):
There are lots more - such as Yoav and I "performing" on American Idol, me being interviewed on A&E biography, me and Bill Clinton (don't worry, I kept the photo appropriate!), and me with my childhood idol, Mark Spitz (yes, I am a dork). But since I'm posting this from work, and you're probably bored already, I figured this was a good place to stop.
The only thing we did wrong with this trip to the wax museum was that we didn't dress up. We look a little silly standing next to Julia Roberts or George Clooney when they are dressed in sparkles and a tux, and we're wearing street clothes. So next time any of you are in NYC, bring some fancy clothes, call me up, and we'll go shmooze with the stars! :)
(ps. is it obvious that I really enjoy the fact that I finally figured out how to post photos on this blog? it makes the blog so much more entertaining) :)
your rapper is Usher.
