I was really on a roll there, for a little while, keeping this blog updated...and then I went to camp. So here comes another attempt to fill you in on the major (and sometimes minor) details of my life.
First and foremost, yes, the rumors are true. Yoav and I are dating. Its fun! I mean, it would be more fun if we were in the same country, but....
For those of you who weren't actually wondering about those rumors because you weren't at camp this summer, you can email me for more details, should you want them.
Ok, moving right along - I'm back at school, and for the first time since Brandeis, I'm actually really excited about my classes. I'm taking a couple of really phenomenal classes, and the rest are definitely decent. This has potential to be a really good semester.
I'm back working at Makor, and its good. I'm excited about a book club that I've started through them, called, what else, "Books and Bagels" (yes, stolen from BaRuCh, but hey, most good ideas are borrowed). We're starting in November with the book "The Memory Keeper's Daughter".
I've also taken a job at the Westchester Jewish Center, teaching 7th grade T'fillah. The kids are pretty good, and so far, I'm enjoying it.
And speaking of prayer...I'm helping to plan Hadar's upcoming Prayer Retreat on Nov. 17-19. And thats kind of exciting.
In other news....the Red Sox suck, I'm going to Israel in December (with the Davidson School, but am extending my trip), I get to see camp people (particularly Suzanne) all the time at school and thats wonderful, and I'm going to go see David Broza perform in Riverside Park this afternoon. Fun stuff!
Maybe next time I post, I'll add some pictures from this summer.....
