A first!

For as far back as I can remember (which might only be since college), I haven't been to a Red Sox game where the Sox have won. More frustrating, since I've been living in NY, I've gone to a number of Red Sox/Yankees games at Yankees stadium, and the pattern has been for the Red Sox to do extremely well during the series, but to lose the one game that I go to.
BUT THE CURSE HAS BEEN BROKEN!
Sunday night, I trekked out to the Bronx, sat myself down in the centerfield bleachers (directly behind the flag pole), and watched the final game of two days of double-headers....and guess what? they won!
And not only did they win, but it was a fabulously interesting game! I particularly enjoyed the guy who ran out into the middle of the field, and just before he was tackled by security, took out his camera and took a picture of them running towards him.
Anyway, I thought I'd leave you with a momento of the glorious game:

Catching up.... I was really on a roll there, for a little while, keeping this blog updated...and then I went to camp. So here comes another attempt to fill you in on the major (and sometimes minor) details of my life. First and foremost, yes, the rumors are true. Yoav and I are dating. Its fun! I mean, it would be more fun if we were in the same country, but.... T-shirt quilt If you've been an avid reader of my away messages, you might have noticed that since camp, I've been working on my "t-shirt quilt". What is a t-shirt quilt you ask?
