Since I last posted, I have stayed at 7 hotels in 3 different continents and slept in 3 different rooms that I call my own in two different (American) states. I've been running all over the place, from vacation to home to camp to home - and soon back to camp. The trip was wonderful - the wedding was beautiful, it was amazing to see my friends whom I haven't seen in far too long, and it was great to experience a new country (Italy).
That's the short version of the trip - you'll have to email or call for the longer version.
One day after I arrived home from the "itrip" (get it, "I" for Israel and Italy) I was at camp! And thus far, I can not ask for a better camp experience. My counselors are PHENOMENAL. My s'gan (literally "assistant" but more accurately "partner in crime") is AMAZING. And the campers are nothing but a bundle of FUN! We're all having a blast, working together as a team, and enjoying ourselves. Last night we had a lip synch contest - and truly, you haven't lived until you've seen a group of 5th grade boys dress up as Aretha Franklin and sing R-E-S-P-E-C-T. I'm hoping to have pictures up soon, but in the meantime, check out the Camp Ramah website (http://www.campramahne.org/) because my campers and counselors are always featured in the photos.
